Hello,

The Presario CQ50 does not come with a built-in web cam. Only a microphone.

You can use the HP site to download the application which can access the web cam. Or you can use Camera and scanner wizard which is in Startmenu (in Win XP) you will get the camera working.

You can use the built in camera in Compaq Presario PC Notebook by installing software for web cam.

If you are using Win XP then it had a built in webcam viewer, just by double clicking the camera in my computer.

I just bought a Compaq presario cq56-110us notebook and want to know if this model has a web cam,as you can tell i don't know much about computers.
It has all the features and built in mic,but sorry it has no built in web cam.You can go online(internet) and google it and it will direct you to many sites with the review of your new laptop.But my suggestion is go directly to the suggested compaq web site and there you will find the technical specs of you laptop.
