you most likely have a faulty battery or the charger is not proper to the device or the current getting to it isn't proper.

Sorry. Download the webcam driver from hp.com/support and reinstall it. That should work.

You can try uninstalling the web cam driver , and reinstalling it back ..
Click on start > in start search type in device manager {(for vista) for xp right click on My computer > click on properties > then select hardware > device manager }.
In device manager look for something like imaging devices.
Please click on the + sign beside it .
Then right click on the web cam driver > and uninstall it .
then go to the following url and download the web cam driver from there.
http:\\hp.com > software and drivers.

Install the web cam driver . Restart the notebook .

Press F10 at the system startup. it will take you to CMOS (BIOS) settings. you can change the boot sequence. (you may need to read all the instruction on the page) (Some times it is + and - or even F5 and F6) Read the page carefully.

have you tryed just the mains with out the battery ,some laptops wont start if the battery is faulty, or if the fan is full of dust and dirt and it can not turn, your laptop will not start.

Lost Windows password:

• Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode. XP only.

It happens sometimes because of slow internet or also check if your modem is not overheating so you can put it in well ventilated area to give you a better performance or also check it by doing a ping test.

on some compaq laptops the wireless switch is on the side of the laptop! look for a button! also some laptops have a wireless symbol on one of the f keys if you find the symbol on the f keys then you click on the fn and the f key with the wireless symbol at the same time!! that should work!

Use a usb mouse uninstall the touchpad then reinstall
