To have a proper full charge is 3 hours even tho the light might go off to indicate its filly charged. have you had it a while because according to nintendo the battery life drops by 25% after 500 charges and so on. you might be as well getting a new battery at around £3 on ebay

Could be a bad battery. Sometimes a battery will come up and say fully charged but in reality the battery will not hold a charge. i had to replace my battery for the same reason.

After fully charged battery power lasted about 20 minutes.

Since it's brand new, return it. You didn't say what type of tablet it is, but they should last for many hours on a charge.

Battery

have you tried using other brand of batteries ?
if you use rechargeable batteries, try them fully charged at another device and see if they last that long. if they last more than in the camera, then your camera might have an electric issue

Hi, I have samsung SGH - X700, my phone gets switched off automatically when i speak for 15-20 min over the phone. When i put for charging, it shows full charged in 30 min.. Could you please...

The problem is with the battery. The battery life is down.
My advice is that you purchase a new battery from a recognised store.
When you have done that, before you use the phone, charge the battery fully. Also, ensure that the supply of power is steady.
In addition, to sustain your battery life, once in a whlie, like every 2 months, fully discharge then fully recharge your battery.
This should make it last longer.

Hope this helps?

I would like to know why by battery on my new lap does not lasttoo much longer than 30 minutes. I would think that this is a very short time.

HI there,
30 minutes is not long. I've got a few questions for you:
1. When you first booted up your computer, did you leave your battery connected for at least 24 hours? If not, please do so as these type of batteries tend to have a cell memory even though they say on the retail box that it does not.
2. Do you leave the power supply connected to your laptop more than 5 hours when you use it? If the battery is fully charged and still connected, the cells will stay active and end up dying faster than usual. When your battery is fully charged, do not connect your power supply to your computer.
3. What kind of programs do you run on your computer? The standard last time listed on the package is usually when using your computer for business type operations (Microsoft Office, etc.). If you use your computer for gaming, the battery will not last as long. If your alpha is also maxed out, your battery will not last long. The tip I have for this is to go in your User Control Panel and to go click on the Battery Icon. Select the recommended power usage and click apply. This will help keep your battery alive longer.
Hope this helps,
Regards

My HDD065 will not charge and is not recognised by my PC. It is about 2 years since I last used it. Any suggestions? H

If you let the battery get too low, the battery will not charge because the motherboard does not have enough power to control the charge process. There are two ways to fix this. 1) buy a new battery that will be supplied fully charged. 2) borrow a friends HDD065, fully recharge the battery and remove it. Place the battery in your player and turn it on. Put your player on charge. Without turning your player off or removing the charger, remove your friends battery and place yours in it. It may take a couple of attempts but you should be able replace your battery and keep the player operational. Leave your battery to fully charge.

Samsung YP K3 only lasts for 2 hours

1. totally discharge the battery so it wont come on.

2. Charge the battery fully

3. Reset the player

Now check how long the battery lasts. If it is still 2 hours there is a problem with the battey and you will need to return the player.
