The heater may be clogged. You will have to take it aprt, pull the hoses off, using somothing small, clean out the prots that the hoses hook to. After that, blow thru it if you can to see if air comes out. Then after it is put back together, put a mix of vinegar and water in and let it run thru until it works good again. Calicum and such plug up the works and just need to be cleaned out.

Is there a trigger handle to turn off and on

no betty, stupid bit of kit imo, no operating switch, just on/off at the switch, which heats the water up. i measured 500ml of water heated using my kettle, put the top on, switched on, and waited. first time the steam didn't come out of the nozzle, so i removed the end and cleaned the nozzle with water, blew down the end from the big end, and replaced it, steam came out. big grumble though, the steam coming out is not that warm, don't advise you to, but i directed against my fingers, it's only hot at the exit of the pointing bit, used it to try and clean floor tiles and grout, complete waste of time. i wouldn't advise anyone to buy one.

Prolectrix 3 tier steam

Is the unit spraying ok? If not then the heater may be plugged. Other than that, you should fill the tank with hot tap water, the the heater will only heat it alittle more, you won't really see steam.

Polti Vaporetto 2400: Water out light comes on when tank is full

Hi you need to put 5ml of Kal Stop fo Polti machines into 1000/1500ml of water into the tank, The stronger solution is better (1000ml) Let it heat up and this should break down the limescale on the solenoid. I tried this today and it has worked saving ££££'s in repair by Polti.
