Not picking up water on a bissel proheat turbo 2x

If unit is not picking up solution it is most likely the small red plastic filter that is just above the small float door in the top piece just left of the tool switch.. pop it out clean muck out of it and it will work like new again.. have fun!!

Bissell pro heat wont spray

Not to be negative but I fixed one Bissell, and it worked for a while then it broke again. My Daughter bought one and it broke on her after using it only 3 times. buy the rug Doctor or some other brand . That is my advise. Otherwise you will have to keep fixing that one.

Steam cleaner doesnt spray water anymore

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial. Check to ensure there is a full tank of Bissell Hard Floor Solutions and water. - Make sure the clean water tank is inserted properly by removing the tank and re-inserting it. Ensure the gasket is attached to the water tank and did not fall into the machine. Reattach this gasket if necessary. - Check the valve on the bottom of the clean water tank. The water should come out of the X-valve when pressed. If the valve is blocked, soak the cap and insert in hot tap water until the blockage clears. Check the handle to ensure it is installed properly. Remove the handle and re-attach, making sure the handle is pushed down all the way. If you need to re-install the handle, remove the solution tank and lift the tab as you lift the handle. Check to ensure the solution tube is inserted properly into the floor nozzle. Clean the spray tips by bending a paper clip and inserting this into the spray tips to clean. If you continue to experience no spray, you may need to call Bissel at 1-800-237-7691 for further assistance. Water won't spray when I squeeze the trigger. How do I get it to spray the solution?

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial. There are a number of reasons why your unit doesn't spray water. It could be that the !) water tank is empty which you can fill heavy duty bladder with hot tap water. 2) If Formula tank is empty, you can fill it with Bissell 2x formula for cleaning. 3) If tank may not be seated properly, turn the power off, remove and reseat the tank. 4) If pump may have lost prime, try to turn off and then turn on the unit, wait for one minute and depress trigger. If still nothing happens, I suggest you contact Bissell 1-800-237-7691 for further assistance. I would like to let you know that you can order replacement parts for your vacuum needs. If my sprayer is plugged lint? cat hair?then how do I unplug it? I still haven't figured out how the squeeze trigger works. Can't see how it can contact the sprayer.

There is a clear cover over the suction head that is held on with 2 screws. Remove the screws with a philips screw driver and the cover will remove providing access for cleaning. Refer to your owners manual which provides this info with a photo I think. Reinstall in the reverse manner. Be careful not to over tighten the screws as you could strip the threads. So to reassemble do not use an electric screw driver or drill type screw drive.

Why isn't the soap coming out of the despencer

Check dispenser seating, turn off unit, unplug unit. Reseat dispenser, plug in unit, turn unit on, wait one minute, press sprayer to test. While your at it clean the two filters. The filters need to be cleaned after each use. One is located under the Water Tank Cap and the other is under the Flow Indicator. Bissell Consumer Care 1-800-237-7691

Most likely Water Tank Filter clog. The filter is located in the cap of the water tank (looks like a screen) remove it and clean and replace it. You may want to check the User's Guide for anyother filters that should be cleaned after each use.

Bissell instruction manuals

The instructions tell you to clean filters after each use. Check the User's Guide for specifics. Quick guide though. Water tank Cap: Under the cap is filter (looks like a screen) remove, clean, replace. Locate the Flow Indicator: turn it counter-clockwise to remove the cap. Lift out the rotor and the filter underneath, Clean and reinstall in reverse order. That should fix the problem. Consumer Care phone number is listed in the User's Guide.
