People calling us are getting a message saying that their phone is blocked. They can't even get through to our voice mail. We called from our cell phone and got the same message. Can't find any way to talk to someone at Bell South. We are in Raleigh, NC.

Hello.. 2 things we need to address here:

1. How to access voice mail account:

Access VM: Press 1:
Easy way to access your voice message system is to go to the dialer pad on your phone and press down on the "1" key until your voice messaging system announces

or you can dial your phone number to get to your voice mail

2. Change Call Setting, go to:
Dialer > (3 dots) Select Settings > Call > (scroll down) Select More Settings > Call Forwarding > Voice Call > then change to Always Forward (turn off)

check with your cell service provider. If your voice mail has a password to access your messages, that same password has to be entered into your phone voice mail app so that the phone can have automatic access to the message alert system. You may have accidentally turned off the feature. Check your settings, especially if you phone has a sleep mode.

When you call, are you just calling the number, or are you logging in as the user? You have to log in as the user to get access to the controls. Once you do that, select the "other options" command, and empty not just new messages, but saved messages too. If that doesn't work, contact your provider.

u need to call the carrier to have them cancel and reregister ur voicemail profile

Call your voice mail,when the message starts,press 7 to delete the message,then continue through each message until empty.

package that includes Caller ID, call
waiting, voice mail, and unlimited

note the following:
L To use the voice mail service provided
by your service provider/telephone
company rather than the unit's
answering system, turn off the
answering system (page 30).

rather than the voice mail service
provided by your service provider/
telephone company, please contact
your service provider/telephone
company to deactivate your voice mail
service.
If your service provider/telephone
company cannot do this:
- Set this unit's "Ring count"
setting so that this unit's answering
system answers calls before the
voice mail service of your service
provider/telephone company does.
It is necessary to check the number
of rings required to activate the
voice mail service provided by your
service provider/telephone
company before changing this
setting.
- Change the number of rings of the
voice mail service so that the
answering system can answer the
call first. To do so, contact your
service provider/telephone
company.

that is not a problem with your phone....it is with your mobile service provider....so take it into them or give them a call

call your voice mail (your own number) and it will tell you what to do

okay you can fix this by calling and leaving a voicemail for your self then checking it. That should solve your problem.
