Whirlpool gas range self-clean cycle produces FSE1 on display and door doesn't lock, audible alarm sounds

I found this on an appliance forum. It sounds the same as your problem. They say the code is F5 E1. Apparently the door lock latch is stuck.

Van was running fine, went into store, and when I came back out, heard clicking sound when I opened door, van would not start

only thing i can think of trying is to use the key to lock and then unlock the drivers door, this will disarm the security system/engine immobilizer

My Whirlpool AWO3761/S Wont Wash Or Do A Full Spin But A Slow Spin Works Ok When I Start Any Program It Goes As Normal Starts Filling Rotates the Drum One Way Then Stops The Timer Clicks Like It Is...

Sounds like a problem with the door lock, door switch or the door switch actuator. Door lock is usually a single assembly with the switch. Check the pin on the door first. Model # is probably mistyped, won't come up, so can't tell anything specific.

Maytag neptune washer MAH-1 start button turns off, does not spin

Hi!

Is it pumping water? If not then pump is bad.
Is the door locking? If the door will not lock, the washer will not enter a spin mode. See if the lock light is lite on the console.

Check for continuity across the Door Lock, Spin Enable Switch when the switch actuator button is pressed in. If there is no continuity across the Door Lock, Spin Enable Switch, replace the Door Lock Switch Assembly.(Check for 120 vac across the Door Lock Wax Motor)

Please rate this solution and ask for further clarifications if needed.

Thanks

Hotpoint aquarius washer dryer wd63 1100 spin - my fuse went just as i was switching the machine on - so the door locked and wont open - changed the fuse, door was still locked so thought id let the wash...

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

Works for other machines..............And please rate me if helped

DOOR WONT OPEN

I'm afraid I don't have a solution, just the same problem. Exactly this has just happened to me and I don't know what to do. Calling out an engineer will be too expensive and in the mean time, I can't do any washing. Have you had any success yet?
