TV Has Sound but no picture

I have a polaroid 26'' HDTV TDX-02610B..When I turn on the tv I have sound and picture for about 15 seconds, then screen goes black and I have sound but no picture.

    I have checked manual,cables etc.. TV worked fine for 2 yrs.. I was watching one night and picture went off ..tried turnin off and back on.but still no picture

    check the manual, maybe you have wrong connected cables, or t.v setting

Polaroid TDX 01530B 15inch Black screen, no picture except POLAROID is visible briefly as TV fires up. Sound works.
The tv have a long board that call the LCD inverter board it is dead.This long LCD inverter board only job are to provided a backlight for the tv LCD screen panel to produce a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish long LCD inverter board for the replacement.

Polaroid TDX-02610B, Tv was working fine, turned it off, now when I turn it on it flashes polaroid then goes black.
If it is only the screen going black but the TV remains on and you can hear audio, then there is a problem with the backlight. It could be due to bad capacitors or it could be a faulty inverter. It requires repair by a competent engineer.

Take out the piggy back signal should solved this problems,not than ur Tuner Signal board have some kind of intermitten short in the board.Must replaced the bard.

Polaroid flatscreen picture does not stay. When the tv is turned on, the picture will last a few seconds to a few minutes.
There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.
