The screen on my FLM-323B goes black after about 30 minutes. Sound is good and remote still works. I turn it off for about 15 minutes, it'll stay on for about 10 minutes. Found a swelled capacitor on what I assume is the power supply for the lights. I replaced it with a new one of the same type. This didn't solve my problem. Any ideas?
The lcd control board is out side the control box, its probably the culprit, its under 20 dollars new. the swollen cap means that its getting too much voltage to that component. better do voltage checks on the power supply each transformer is labelled for voltage output make sure its providing the correct voltage and not surging, this can cause the tv to fail with serious problems. now mr zuzu13 you need to have the tv on a surge protector and be careful not to let it arc when plugging in. you also need to do the same checks as above its most likely a power supply problem causing the shut downs. also reset your tv to factory settings by punching in 8282 on the remote this might also solve your problems. but dont forget to check the power supply now it might save you a costly repair.

I have the same problem, but then the whole tv goes off. I,m going to try a new power cord for that but I have only used the tv about 20 times. The book says if you aren't going to use for prolonged periods to unplug it. Too bad that was in the back of the manual
.
where is the lcd control board located at on the TV? Is this something I can change or is it internal? I got a new power cord-the tv will not power up at all now though.
