My Frigidaire Model fails to spin after wash

Defy top loader 13kg it washes, it rinses but it does not spin, although it makes the spind noise, but the drum does not turn. please help

I have a defy top loader washing machine model wtl13019w the machine works fine when it washes the clothes but when it gets to the spin cycle it spins but starts to get unbalanced and hits the sides we've tried putting less washing in but it does the same thing in the spin cycle

Machine will not final spin

I was given wrong info. the machine did go through the cycle and drain. However, the drum DID NOT revolve at all. Main motor Brushes replaced. Now OK. Thanks.

We have a Hoover select 1500 washing machine. It still washes and rinses ok, but doesn't then move onto the spin cycle. But I can manually set the dial to spin and restart it. It then spins fine. I assume...

Could be but also could be rinse water valve not operating due to faulty solonoid. it does a final rinse / softner before spinning if valve faulty then no spin advance....

It washes rinses and spins just fine but when the water empties it makes a horrible sound. the water empties efficiently, i don't think it's the drain pump. it's almost as if gears are not aligned...

You may have something rattling around in the water pump cap. Perhaps coins.

Sounds like you have coins or something in the pump.

Same problem!

There is a motor speed control board that may have failed. It is common on frigidaire wahers. You will need a servicer to verify that.

Washer - Washes/Rinses but fails to SPIN to squeeze clothes.

Set the timer to spin and turn it on. Then open and close the lid. If it spins replace the timer.
If it does not spin, replace the direct drive coupling on the motor/transmission.

My washer had same problems, turned out to be door lock switch. around $75.00. Washer 2 years old. Questioning quality also.

Mine is having the same problem. I have been trouble shooting it. The error code lead me to replace the control board. $150. (I found a burn out capacitor on the board). I replaced the board and then recieved another error code. I did the suggested diagnostics. Test shows the motor is ok, and I need to replace the Speed control board. I have looked up the cost, $185. If I replace that, I am $315 into it, plus the effort. (washer was $625 new)
My washer is just over 3 years old.
I suggest you throw the piece of **** out and get a quality brand.
