LO Door failed to unlock Door lock monitor switch does not indicate to the machine control board that the solenoid in the door lock mechanism retracted and unlock the door. 1.Check for debris inside inside the door lock mechanism, which may be jamming the lock solenoid. 2.check wire connections in harness leading from machine control board to door lock mechanism.
3.Check the door lock monitor switch for welded contacts.
4.Replace responsible component.

Error codes appear when there are problems with the door, the inflow and drainage of water and the motor.

Do
Your Maytag Neptune washer displays the "do" help code when the washing machine is trying to start a cycle, but the door is open or not locked properly. If this message is displayed, close the door securely and restart the washing cycle.

FL
The "FL" code indicates that the washing machine was unable to lock the door after you closed it. Open and close the door tightly, then restart the washing cycle.

Sd

Change the door latch assembly and if its still doing the same thing, then your control board is bad.

If the door fails to unlock after 11 attempts, you will see the "LO" code. If this was caused by foreign matter infiltrating the latch area try this. Open the dispenser lid and look for a plastic cord tucked away towards the front. It's the same as "weed whacker" cord. Grasp this cord firmly and pull it from right to left (away from the latch). This is the emergency cord to open the door after a latch failure. remove any debris that would hamper the operation of the latch assembly. Close the door and try going into a spin cycle to check the door lock operation.

Not really bad news. The unit requires a door lock assembly.

Unplug from the outlet and wait about 5-10 minutes. When you put the plug back into the outlet, the door should unlock.

latch open it means your latch on your door is not connecting It happened to me when I switch the door to open the other way your washer wont start or will stop mid cycle if the connection isn't made it is simple to fish hopefully you haven't already paid for someone to come to fix it :)

LO means bad door lock switch or conrtol board. to get it open unlock manually by pulling plastic cable located in dispenser where soap is put in.
