Just recently my washher started to make a knocking sound when it is on the spin cycle. The sounds gets worse the faster the washer spins. I re-arranged the load but it doesn't help. The problem started recently after washing a large blanket.
I have a year old FTF530FSO. The water amount is very small even on washing a large load.
Any way to increase the water level.
Take off the lower panel. Inspect the shocks too see if they are damaged. If they are OK turn the wash basket by hand if the knock is heard then most likely you have a broken wash basket.
Good Morning kvojik, thanks for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire front load washer is getting stuck between the drain and spin cycle. I noticed that you have replaced many components within your washer and continue to experience this issue. I would not advise to manually advance any part of the washer because this could cause issues within your washer. It could be a potential issue with the motor. At this point you may want to reach out to a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you to avoid any further part purchases. -Matt

Same problem. Machine screams in spin cycle. I took off the top and bounced that tub around. It does not seem to be external or under it. Broken basket? How do I fix that? Or do I buy a better brand washer.
This thing is only four or five years old.
My machine also make loud noises on the psin cycle. I took off the front panel and inspected the shocks...doesn't appear to be the issue. I also ran the machine and the motor does not appear to be the source of the vibration or the noise. I then tried rotating the inner tub by hand and did not feel any bumps or excessive vibration, but I can not get it up to speed like the motor. Does anyone know what the internal basket looks like? Are there rollers surounding the inner basket? Any help is greatly appreciated as my girlfriend can not afford a new machine or a service visit.
I too have the problem (which just started),,,excesive spin noise,,i've checked to see clockwise or counter clockwise,,dosn't seem to be any different,,,,i've tried small loads, med and large,,,still the same rattle in the motor area when spinning,,,7 months old is the washer,,,
New Frigidaire Washer FRF3700LW0-unable to get a "smooth" spin on spin cycles, shakes and "walks" across floor. Have tried redistributing the wash load (as it says in the manual), tried different wash settings, tried low spin cycle, have tried small, med, large wash loads, to no avail.
