My python remote starter when starting in the morning only wil will runl. On my 2008 dicota truck will run less than a min. And shot itself off only in thr morn.

You need to reprogramme the tach input, the engine is running colder in a morning and will run higher for a few minutes, during the day the engine will be warm and idle quickly.

On my 2007.5 Duramax, the factory remote has been working fine ... I tried this morning again with the remote starter while sitting in the truck and same thing, turned off ....2008 Silverado 2500 HD CCLB Duramax 6 Spd Allison 4X4 Z71 ... shut off engine", basically its doing it foryou as your not in the truck to ...

check your starter they act up like that, when it will not start if you could try to hit it with a hammer, pipe anything you can not on the solenoid but on the body of the starter if it start up you know that is your problem.
your system was set by accident for cold weather start, which will start it every 2 or 3 hours and run for 2 or 3 min, good thing about this is it will only run do this for 1 day, or untill the car is started with the key
first thing i would try is locate the main box for auto start. usually it is under dash on the driver side when installed. then find the lage or hrness with the most wires going to it and unplug it/wait a few min. then plug it back in. sometimes the unit will go into a security mode. this will just reset it. if this doesn't work then let me know
