Print internal configuration page and check for IP address in printed sheet and try to compare with the driver information
Check for LED at network card if it’s on
Try to send ping command to IP address to verify connection and if reply is confirm
Uninstall driver and reload and try to search the printer with IP or hardware address while loading driver
If still any problem it could be network card have problem need to be replaced

I am unable to access my company's vpn server.

You may have some needed firewall ports blocked on your router. Turn off the firewall temporally and see if your able to connect. Your company IT folks should be able to tell you what ports they need open.

Why can Networked Devices not be used when a VPN connection is active?

With most VPNs, as soon as the VPN connection is established, it will take precedence over all other network connections. Access to the Internet (other than to keep the VPN connection itself alive) will go via the VPN and the corporate network you are connected to, rather than the local ISP. Furthermore, access to the local network is temporarily disabled.

As a result, your local print server may not be accessible,
you cannot use devices via the Network USB hub, or the USB ports on your router (if it has these), you may not even be able to access your local router's configuration page or ping the router or other machines in the local network.

This is done because of security reasons.
When a computer is connected to a corporate network via a VPN, the administrator needs to make sure that that machine can not act as a some form of a gateway enabling other machines in the local network to access that corporate network in any way. For that reason, the machine connecting via the VPN must temporarily be isolated from the local network.

Printing with Dlink DI-624S and VPN connection

I am guessing this VPN is something work related and not a VPN you setup yourself?? If that is the case your company's VPN access will not allow you to pass from there network back to yours which is why you are unable to print to your local home printer when connected to VPN. You might could run it by your IT staff and see if they will allow connection and help you set it up. If not then simply email the docs to yourself and then print them out after you are finished using VPN connection.

Hope this Helps

Network printer will not print

Hi Savo,

Is printer being recognized by network? What does device manager indicate? If there is a Yellow exclamation point, you need an updated driver. Try uninstalling software, removing access cable to printer and reinstalling software then re-connecting printer cable.

HP 7410 can't print anymore

I think I have solved this, any way it worked for me.
Turned off printer and turned off wireless router made sure no computers are on.
Restarted printer make sure wireless settings are installed in printer then restart router.Once router is up and running switch on computer and you should be able to print.
Hope this works for you.
