Starts to fill up with water, stops a few times then beeps

When machine is filling with cold it won't stop cut out keeps over running

My F & Paykel washer did this. There was a baby sock under the wash basin. I called for repairman and he found the problem.

Fisher and paykel excellence smart drive. Works well till rinse cycle will start to pump out water then stops, no spin either. starts beeping every second? help!!
most likely you have a bad drain pump.or its possible you have foreign objects inside the drain pump preventing it from operating

Starts and stops
A failed inlet valve is not uncommon in F&P machines. The hot valve is different to the cold one, so don't exchange them. Not a big job for a tech to do in-laundry. Good luck....Nomess
