Loud beep from fridge for few minute

Sounds like a case of ice build up on the evaporator coils.

If you would....
1. First unplug the unit then perform a manual defrosting by removing the contents of the freezer.
2. Place a fan blowing into the freezer compartment for just over 2 hours.
NOTE: This WILL make a dripping water mess so be ready with the rags and the mop.!
3. After 2 hours return the contents to the freezer and plug the unit in.
4. Four to Six hours after that check your freezer temps. If the temps are normal you most likely have an automatic defrosting problem that is allowing the ice to build up on the evaporator coils due to the lack of normal defrosting.

These brief intermittent hums have me concerned. That is a sign that the compressor is not starting.

DO THIS FIRST! Before doing the above....... steps 1 - 4 Unplug the unit for about 30 minutes. What your doing is allowing the compressor to sit in a static condition, cool off, and equalize internal coolant pressures. After the 30 minutes plug the unit back in and listen for the compressor to start and RUN. If it tries to start and then 45 seconds or so later you hear a click then there is a problem with one of the following:

a. PTC start / run relay
b. KilXon thermal overload
c. Compressor "Run Capacitor"
d. A burned wire / terminal in / near the compressor contacts area

If the compressor starts and runs then do steps 1 - 4 above.

For parts information you may need to contact the manufacturer, and it also helps in troubleshooting.

Thank you and good luck!

I moved a fisher and paykel upside down fridge freezer to a new house, I turned it on a half hour after it was in my new home but it has not gotten down to a cold enough temp, if I turned it on too so

It is possible damage will result. Your fridge's compressor motor is suspended inside the compressor housing on three or four springs. These springs are designed to hold the motor load in a vertical position. Transporting a fridge on it's side can stretch or break these springs which can cause a shudder stop condition (the fridge makes a shuddering banging noise everytime the compressor stops and sometimes when it starts). It's a good idea to let a fridge sit for a bit anytime it is moved. Over night won't hurt but an hour is more than enough time. the internet consensus seems to be that you should limit the amount of time the unit is not upright. And as stated above, leave it upright at least overnight before starting it. Apparently damage can arise from mixing of lubricant and coolant, so damage is more likely in an older unit with worn seals.

How do I fix a F2 Fault on my refrigerator - Fisher and Paykel Refrigerators

The F2 code on the active smart model relates to an EVAP SENSOR RESISTANCE FAULT which means the resistance of the Evaporator Sensor is outside of the normal range (> 45k ohms). In the first instance - Check sensor connection at the controller but if that does not resolve the problem then the sensor would need replacing.
