Computer Freeze Hello, my computer, Packard Bell iMedia M82401ADRW, keep freezing then the screen gradually turns grey, sometimes I have to turn it off then back on again and other times it just comes good. It seems to be getting worse. Any suggestions?

Had this occur on a laptop myself
was being caused by hard drive total failure
had to replace hard drive

Some programs need a substantial amount of RAM and in case of computers with smaller RAM, they tend to freeze. Either close some of the running programs or increase the RAM capacity. In every likelihood it should work.

check the cord for the (computer box)

Sounds like a disk problem. Check my hint for what to do.

Hi sounds like your card is running out of ram mem.Might be time for an upgrade.good luck!

Sounds like an overheating problem. Clean the dust out of it, make sure it can get air on all sides, make sure the fans are turning. If that doesn't work, unplug the computer, hit the power button 20 times, wait 1/2 hour and boot it up.

Tell me when did your speakers work fine?
Make sure the speakers are turned on and not set on mute.
Open control panel - click sound option - make sure options are not greyed out here.. if they are then you need to install the sound drivers...

you have to set the hard drive first if there is any one detected if not there is bad hard drive and you have to replace it
