shut down ur laptop, check any key stuck in the keypad? if not, just clean ur keypad, and switch it on then check, if not then remove the battery, ground the battery terminal in laptop start laptop without the battery, then let me know ok? :-)
To upgrade memory, first remove all power / battery / depress start button to de-energise, there is an inspection flap under your laptop, Usually the smaller one, unscrew and be careful not to lose screws, Memory is gently eased upward and outward.
