Just bought a used Sony Trinitron ($35 so don't make fun) - need to adjust audio & visual settings and run the auto cable channel setup - Used a fairly ancient ONE For ALL Cinema 7 Universal remote - works for limited function (turns it on/channel/volume/but not any of the audio/visual settings - Any ideas on that? There was only one Sony code to use so no flex there. Is there any universal remote or Sony replacement remote that does a comprehensive job on the Sony Trinitron. I also have a remote from an older Sony VCR (remote = RMT-V501) but no instructions - Is there any way I can set that up for use with the Trinitron? Thanks!!
You can purchase in most cases at Kmart, Walmart or places like that universal Sony remotes which should allow you access to those features.
