Installed new lamp but Replace the Lamp prompt still displays.

There are several models on several generations of Zenith manufactured LCD projection tv's. Without knowing the exact model of yours i can't be sure but in most of them the Lamp life counter is reseted this way: with the tv in stand-by, you press the "?" key on the remote then immediately you press 9,8,7,6 and then the OK. If the procedure was correct the 3 lights on the front of the tv will blink to signal the end of the reset procedure.
In others , hold down the Mute button on remote and Enter on TV at the same time for a few seconds, you should get a screen prompt asking if you want to reset the timer for the lamp.

Be sure the power cord is plugged into a properly grounded wall outlet. Then, press the POWER button on the projection display or the remote control to turn the unit on.

While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control at same time for more than 5 seconds.

When reset procedure is complete, the screen will indicate that the lamp has been reset!

NOTE: When lamp time reset is finished, the LAMP indicator goes out!

Press and hold Volume down button on tv front and Split/Play button on remote for 6 seconds to reset lamp timer.
TV will show you lamp timer reset confirmation display.

Hi,
To replace lamp in Panasonic PT-50LC13 tv, please follow this...
1- Place your fingertips under the front cover and pull it from the projection display.
2- Loosen the lamp cover screw using a screwdriver.
3- Using a screwdriver, loosen the lamp unit screw.
4- Grasp the lamp unit handle and slowly pull the lamp unit from the projection display.
5- Put new lamp and fix things in reverse order.

Now need to reset lamp timer as follows,
While pressing the VOL Down button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control simultaneously for more than 5 seconds.
When lamp timer will reset, tv sill show "lamp time was reset to 0" message.

Open menu, go to settings, scroll down to " Lamp Replacement " move right to start . Message will ask if you replaced lamp? Put in Yes, enter and your done.

the light filter on the blue lcd is toasted, thus causing the tint. as for the lamp prompt, you need to reset the lamp timer.

Have you reset the lamp timer after replacing the lamp, if not then do so and see the user manual for that.

how old is the lamp? If old then at end of life and projector shuts down automatically to avoid damage. If new bulb reset lamp in OSD menu

I have the service manual and it shows two door switches Dr 1 is in the back of the set on rt bottom below the temp. sensor. Dr 2 is at the front panel where you open it to replace the lamp. If one of these switches are open, it would show a lamp problem. If you have a Muiltimeter and can get to the switches see if one of them is open. Hope this is helpful.
