How do I save an open office document to the usb

The same way you save other document to other USB drives oor other folders.
But when you insert the USB drive to the computer, you should see the drive in your browser. If not, the computer has trouble finding the correct driver.
First try to see the USB drive in your browser, then try saving things to it.

HOW DO i USE THE 16GB FLASHDRIVE?

Insert the drive into a USB port on your computer. Then it'll become a drive you can see in My Computer. After you see the drive you can copy files to it like any folder on your system. You may even create folders and child-folders on your USB drive to keep things organized.

I deleted all the viewable files and folders on my lexar firefly jumpdrive, but it says that i still have almost all my memory used up. how can I clear it?

You may have hidden or locked files. If the files are locked, you'll see an icon to unlock them when you open the JumpDrive in Windows Explorer. If the files are hidden, try and show them: Tools-->Folder Options-->View--> Left Click "show hidden files and folders" Good Luck!

I dont know how to save a writing piece from the word pad onto the lexar firefly

Open Wordpad, click File-->Save As; type in your desired name for the file and click the pull down arrow near "Save in:". Select the appropriate Drive (G/D,E or whatever) that is your Firefly. Click save. The file should now be saved as a Rich Text Formatted document on your Firefly. You can save it as a Text Document as well under the "Save as type:" option. Good Luck!
