Fist you need confidence.. then only you try it.. no video/manual for this, because of its no suggestible. Read once again & once again understand it then try it..
Open back cover & side covers.. two boards you will found at back side left one is formatter & right one DC controller. remove both DC & formatter, mark the connectors where you removed. Remove the plate where DC & formatter placed, after that only you will find the scanner assm. Two screws only protected to scaner assm, mark them where you removed. Scanner assm: While cleaning the scanner assm must be wear glows..to avoid finger prints. Remove the scanner assm cover(two screws) & shutter. Observe two motors with four reflecting mirrors, clean the mirrors & engine reflector sides(a squared metal part which was rotates along with the motor) with ear buds gently. ( ear buds are good cleaning method) while fixing the unit back ensure that seated properly.. fix back every thing & do calibration.. check the print quality, if you failed to fix the scanner unit in properly, you need to do entire things once again.. Good luck..
Hello,
I have a Olds Cutless Ciera 1089 with the 2.8 MFI V6, and my car was stalling more and more coming to a stop. It would always start right up, but as soon as I put in back in drive many times would stall again. You can try to prove that it is the Lock up clutch converter solenoid which is inside of a side cover on the drivers side. I unplugged mine and the problem went away for good. Per a GM dealership shop tech, said It won't hurt anything for a while. He said it wasn't urgent to fix a sticking solenoid, for weeks or months, but should fix it sometime. You might lose some of the gas mileage from unplugging it, no lock up at upper speeds. Old school cars never even had these, and they were plenty problematic in GM cars, of getting stuck or staying sticky. Hope this helps.
Bill
1)Switch on the PC 2) Constantly press the F8 key until you get a startup menu 3) choose safe mode from the menu 4) Once safe mode has loaded up try formating the mem stick in this mode 5) If formatting fails in safe mode then unfortunaltey the stick is faulty and will need to be replaced
If this has been useful please leave positive feedback/vote/testimonial - Thank you again
Your shutter leavers are getting slow. They will fail soon, most likely the old grease is sticking. You can get a replacement body for $40 as repairs/cleaning will be $80+
Hi...what you are seeing is the DMD board (digital Mirror display board) going bad. And if you leave it turned on like that it will damage the DMD mirror and freeze that picture into the mirror. It will look as if someone etched it into the mirror. DMD boards can be repaired and some cannot be repaired. The DMD board can be replaced. The DMD mirror can also be replaced too.
I have exactly the same problem, my unit has been sent to the service centre 3 times already and they still haven't fixed it. It appears to be a main board issue. I will send it back again for servicing and will NOT take it back unless the main board is replaced.
