I cannot get IP via DHCP. I couldn't find modem when I manually installed IP (10.0.0.xx, 192.168.1.xx and 192.168.0.xx)
nmap -v -sP showed that only one host is alive - my PC.
How can I get connected to the device? What is the problem? Reset doesn't make any effect.
tcpdump shows nothing while I'm connecting via DHCP.
I think you may have a problem in connecting or you did some mistake while connecting. So better use correct connection method then check ip address is detected or not.To check ip address visit the site www.ip-details.com If you have still same problem in modem or in any device. Please call some technical person and connect it.
What reset did you do?
assuming you reset router by unplugging then plugging back into power source?
back up current config file first, to save your settings, reset to factory settings, power cycle.
