My electric blanket had the same message and I could not find anywhere to answer question. Sunbeam said to look on th cord tag and this was no help. I finally pulled out the main wire box inside blanket and took apart to see if there was anything obvious. All solders looked fine but then I noticed a drop of water. Used a hair dryer to dry the electronic board, reassembled and it worked. Must have been a water short.

IF SHOWING F1 F2 A1 WHATS THE PROBLEM

If your device is showing the error codes "F1" and "F2" and the code "A1," it is likely that there is a problem with the device's control panel or display. These codes are typically used to indicate that there is a problem with the device's control panel, display, or user interface, and that the device is unable to operate normally.
There could be several potential causes for this error message, including:
  • A problem with the control panel or display: The control panel and display are responsible for allowing the user to interact with the device and providing feedback on its status. If there is a problem with the control panel or display, the device may be unable to operate properly and may display the "F1" and "F2" codes.
  • A problem with the user interface: The user interface is the part of the device that allows the user to input commands and control the device. If there is a problem with the user interface, the device may be unable to receive or interpret the user's commands, and may display the "F1" and "F2" codes.
  • A hardware failure or malfunction: In some cases, the "F1" and "F2" codes may be caused by a hardware failure or malfunction. This could be due to a problem with one of the device's internal components, such as the motherboard or processor, or due to physical damage to the device.
To diagnose the specific cause of the error codes on your device, you may need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps, such as checking the connections to the control panel and display, and ensuring that the device is receiving power. You may also need to consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for more information and guidance on how to fix the problem.

Whirlpool oven, stove and range fault codes (ERC and EOC display errors).

Here a list of Whirpool oven fault codes. The codes had been collected from different service manuals. This was a memo that I wrote for my own use. I think this can be useful to owners and technicians.

Range/Stove and Oven Fault Codes, Common error codes.

F1 - Analog control board Failure
Disconnect for one minute - if error comes back, replace control board
F1 - Shorted control keypad
Replace keypad
F3 - Oven temperature sensor open
Replace oven temperature probe
F2 - Oven temperature sensor shorted
Replace oven temperature probe
F3 - Oven too hot
Replace oven temperature probe
F3 - Clean temperature too hot
Replace oven probe
F5 - Door latch switch fault
Test and replace the door switch.

Whirlpool with 4 Digit Failure Code:

F1 - E1 - Electronic control (flip flop)
Replace control board
F2 - E0 - Shorted control keypad
Replace keypad
F3 - E0 - Oven temperature probe open
Replace temperature probe

Replace temperature probe
F3 - E2 - Oven temp too high
Replace temperature probe
F3 - E3 - Clean temp too hot
Replace temp. probe
F5 - E0 - Check door latch
F5 - E1 - Check door latch
Replace switch if defective

WHIRLPOOL Polara models 5 digit codes:

F1 F0 - EEPROM communication error
Replace ERC
F1 E1 - EEPROM checksum error
Replace ERC
F1 E2:7 - UL A/D errors
Replace ERC
F1 E4:2 - Model ID error
Reinsert keytail.
F1 E6:0 - Latch signal mismatch error
Replace ERC
F2 E0:4 - Shorted key error
Replace keypad assembly
F2 E1:3 Keytail unplugged
reinsert the keytail
F3 E0:5 Top oven sensor open
Test and replace top probe.
F3 E1:6 Top oven shorted
Test and replace temp probe
F3 E2:9 Bake range over temperature
Test and replace temp probe
F3 E3:8 Clean range over temperature
Test and replace temp probe.
F3 E4:10 Bottom oven sensor open
Test and replace temp probe
F3 E:15 Bottom oven sensor shorted
Test and replace temp probe
F5 E0:14 Door switch errot
Test and eventually replace door lock switch
F5 E1:16 Door latch not operating
Test and eventually replace door latch
F8 E0:17 Refrigeration error
Test the cooling module.
PF Power failure - Does not indicate a fault.
PF occurs when power is disconnected.

WHIRLPOOL

F2 - Oven temperature above specifications
Check 8-pin connector from temp. probe to Electronic Oven Control
F3 - Open oven temperature probe failure
Check wiring, replace oven probe if necessary
F4 - Shorted oven temperature sensor failure
Check wiring harness, replace oven temperature probe if necessary
F5 - Push button stuck or faulty
Check for binding of pushbuttons and control panel glass. If OK, replace touch panel

Maytag model CWG3600AAB error code f2

There doesn't appear to be an F2 error code! There is an F1-2?

https://www.google.com/search?q=maytag+gemini+double+oven+error+code+f1-2&

There may be a problem with the Lower Oven Temperature Sensor, the Control, or the associated wiring.

What's an f1 and f2 code mean???

Hello,

The F1 code means that a button on the touchpad is stuck

The F2 means that the oven tempature was at least 100 degrees over what the temp it was set to was

the F1 will come sometimes if the ribbon connection on the touchpad doesnt fit well into the control board and other times it comes because the touchpad is defective

the F2 comes up because the control has measures the temp and thinks that when it set as lets say fro instiance 350 degrees the control thinks the temp ahs reached 450 degrees(100 plus over) typically the thing wrong when the F2 comes up is the oven sensor at room temp to be between 1060-1100 ohms

However if you are getting both error codes at the same time the only thing common to both is the oven control and if both at the same time i suspect the control is the problem

I get F2:E0 F2:E1 and F2:E3 as well as the continuous beeping. Unplugging does not resolve the problem. I can turn on the oven, sometimes, but it goes off by itself. Sometime the controls don't work at...

Kitchen Aid Range / Stove / Oven Fault Codes Failure Code Fault Code Description Solution 4 Digit Failure Codes (for 2 digit codes see below) F1 - E0 EEPROM communication error 1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

Note: Applies to all F1-E... codes except F1-E3. F1 - E1 EEPROM checksum error F1 - E2 UL A/D error(s) F1 - E4 Model ID error F1 - E5 Calibration shifted F1 - E6 Latch signal mismatch error F1 - E9 Stack overflow F1 - E3 Wiring harness cavity size does not match previously stored value The "Cavity Size Select" jumpers in the wiring harness indicate a cavity size different from that which the control was previously configured for. Check the jumpers in the harness to make sure they agree with the actual oven size.
F2 - E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch pad) 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock). F2 - E1 Keypad cable unplugged F2 - E5 Cancel key drive line open F2 - E6 Cancel key drive line openfrom what this says you could have a bad touch pad,it says to press cancel,if the code comes back after a minute you have a bad touch pad.there's a tech sheet on you machine with all the codes on it,look behind the top console taped to the back.make sure you put this back,if someone comes in to work on your machine and that paper is gone it will be hard to work on it,all machines are different.
