If they are both running from the same power supply, it may be a relay problem.

Check to make sure the outlet (power supply) is energized. This piece of equipment is supposed to be used on a ground-fault protected circuit, so make sure the ground-fault on the outlet didn't trip or the circuit breaker (fuse) at the electric panel did not trip (or blow)
Check to make sure you are going through the proper starting procedures as outlined in your user's manual on page 8.
Follow the troubleshooting tips on page 10 of the user's manual.
Beyond that, Bosch requires that you have your power washer repaired at an authorized / qualified repair center.

When the pull start gets locked, you have to release water pressure from the wand. I had the same problem last year.

You need to check the lid switch, you can test it's function with a multimeter to see if it is working correctly or not.

Unplug the washer power cord and plug it back after 2 minutes and see if the washer reset it self. I think it will.

If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these: 

No power
Lid switch
No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?

Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. 

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse. 

First check youp plug point by plugging in a lamp or something, there could be no supply; next check your washer's plug.
