Got a hyper weed eater won't start

It is a 2 cycle engine, use a mixture of 50 parts gas and 1 part 2 cycle oil, I suggest you use synthetic 2 cycle oil.

Do the cooling fans come on ? Using a infrared thermometer ,test to see what real temp of engine is . Temp gauges have been known to go bad , read incorrectly . This is why it's best to take to a qualified repair shop that knows proper diagnostic procedure's . Not guessing an replacing part's . What make's you think it's over heating ?

either one they are both inexpensive DMM accuracy ? will be good enough for 12 VDC

take it to someone that knows these... they aren't easy or easibly explainable !!!

there is a clip behind the little hub cap but older units it might be seized on in that case i change the tire right on the tractor leaving the wheel on
