My WS8001-um jumps ahead three hours after I set it. I seems to be receiving the radio signal, but doesn't reset itself.

if just time is off by one to three hour(s) , you need to ck your time zone settings , if the day is off by one day you need to wait 24hrs keeping watch in a good view of the sky (not locked in a metal box) it should auto correct itself to proper day when it receives the radio signal for two time cycles (24hrs)

Within five minutes the clock will either receive the WWVB signal and set itself to the exact time, or it will determine that the signal is not receivable at its current location and time of day. If a signal is not receivable it will fast-forward the hands to the 4, 8, or 12 o'clock position and search for WWVB each
hour until a signal is received. If the time is manually set the clock will continue to periodically search for a signal and automatically reset the hands when the signal is received.

You haven't given any details about your clock, ie, its Model number, brand name etc. Yet I posts this solution, as these are the genteral proceedings to reset a radio clontrolled clock.

WWVB will penetrate almost every residential building and most steel buildings if they have adequate windows. It is not possible, however, for WWVB to penetrate most indoor shopping malls and rooms in the center of large office buildings that do not have windows. In buildings that WWVB cannot penetrate you may set the time using the manual time set button. When the clock is exposed to the WWVB signal it will automatically set the hands to the exact time. OK.

DST was set in the wrong setting. Change it and it should correct itself overnight.

Make sure that the clock is set for the correct time zone and that the DST (Daylight Saving Time) function is ON. Also, although not mentioned in the manuals, these clocks will typically jump and hour ahead or behind when the batteries get weak. Replace your batteries if they are more than a year old.

The watch will set itself at specific time set times, this is likely to be at 0200 0400 and 0600.
You will however be required to set the time zone, the switch is likely to be on the back.
