Procedure For Setting Time Zones For Emerson Clock Radios

Setting The Time, The First Time
IMPORTANT: The first time you connect your new SmartSet® clock radio to
the AC outlet the internal computer will automatically set the time correctly for
the Eastern Time Zone, which is the initial default setting. The display will
scan for a few seconds and then show the correct Day and Time in the Eastern
zone. If you live in the Eastern Time zone, there’s nothing else to do. Your
clock is set correctly and running.
If you do not live in the Eastern Time zone you must change the default zone
display to your own zone. You only do this one time and the SmartSet® will remember
the new default zone setting and will always return to that setting after a power
interruption.
There are 7 time zones programmed into your SmartSet® clock radio as follows:
ZONE 1 — Atlantic Time
ZONE 2 — Eastern Time (Default Setting)
ZONE 3 — Central Time
ZONE 4 — Mountain Time
ZONE 5 — Pacific Time
ZONE 6 — Yukon Time
ZONE 7 — Hawaiian Time
To change the default time zone display, depress the Time Zone button.
The number “02” will appear on the display
indicating that the default zone is ZONE 2,
Eastern Time

Malibu 300 transformer. Which way do you turn manual switch to off for timer to work?

Test that lights turn on when switch is in ON position. Then turn knob to "TIMER" and set both the time you want the lights to come on then the time for off. Leave knob at "TIMER".

https://www.smarthome-products.com/productspecs/Malibu/8100-0300-01-Manual.pdf

TIMER - The power pack turns on when the clock reaches the TIMED ON time. The power pack will turn off when the clock reaches the TIMED OFF time.

This mode will turn the power pack on and off at the same times everyday regardless of how light or dark it is. The power pack and lights will be on from the TIME ON time to the TIMED OFF time. To set the TIMED ON clock, the knob needs to be turned to TIMER, then hold down the TIMED ON button while pressing either the or button. Pressing while holding down the TIMED ON button will advance the displayed time. Pressing while holding down the TIMED ON button will decrease the time displayed. Holding the or button down for several seconds will speed up the change in the display. Releasing the TIMED ON button will set the time. Note the AM/PM LED indicators to get the correct time of day.
To set the TIMED OFF clock, the knob needs to be turned to TIMER, then hold down the TIMED OFF button while pressing either the or button. Pressing while holding down the TIMED OFF button will advance the displayed time. Pressing while holding down the TIMED OFF button will decrease the time displayed. Hi the details are below. Hope it helps I have added a link for the manual at the very bottom, Good luck with it.....
Time Adjusts the systems clock. The time difference (+, -) between the time originally set in your navigation system is set here. You can also select summer time On/Off. > Time settings, (See page 131) Summer Time Choose whether or not to take summer time into account. On: Summer time is taken into account. Off* Summer time is not taken into account...... To set the time difference, touch "+" or ."-" The time difference between the time originally set in the navigation system (Pacific Standard Time) and the current location of your vehicle is shown. If necessary, adjust the time difference. Touching "+" or "-" changes the time difference display in one-hour increments. The time difference can be set from +3 to -3 hours. If necessary, set to summer time. Daylight Saving Time (DST) is off by default. Touch "Off" to change the time if you are in the daylight saving period.
