Hi,
I have a Canon ImageClass D880 which is giving up the E000 error.
Do you know of a way to test the fuser to see if it is the fuser or something else
From a fellow FixYa expert, "Press "Additional Functions", press "#", then press the "Right Arrow" button till it says, "Printer", then press "Set" then press the "Right Arrow" button again until it says "Printer Reset" then press "Set" again, the display will ask you "Yes" or "No". Press the "Left" arrow for "Yes", then press "Set". Now, unplug the power cord and wait 5 seconds and plug back in. If this don't work, get a new fuser."
Take out fuser check lamp for continuity ( put black tester terminal on one end and red on ther opposite, must give a beep)
check termofuse in same way.for thermistor check for change in resistance when applying heat or cold.
