Pdsdk-st470rg-vp scanner has quit scanning......have reset but didn't help

CHECK TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY DEBRIS ON THE SCANNING ROD THAT PICKS UP IMAGES.... THAT WILL CAUSE THE WHITE LINE.

Check all the settings. Press the DP button and select high resolution. Press the C/BW button and select Color is you are scanning pictures. Clean the lens using a soft cloth and start scanning again. Re-install the software disk that came with it.

Check online for the lasted update. The CD could contain outdated drivers and applications

check if you find the digital imaging monitor in the task bar of the computer..
try to scan from the solution centre .. if it is not scanning.. you may have to try L2 uninstall.

Please download the driver for your device from the below link.

But I am not sure whether it will be compatible from Windows 7.
Try installing the driver. If not installing on win 7, then right click on the setup.exe and select properties. There select compatibility to windows xp as something similar like below.



After installing the driver, you need to install software so that you can use that software to scan.
Please download the software from the below location and insatll this as well after installing the driver.

After installing this s/w you will be getting some shortcut in desktop using which you can scan your film.

Thanks. When you attempt a scan with your backlight setup are you able to instruct the scanner through its settings and options that you are using a transparency backlight at 6300K? If these options are there, what light temperature options do you have besides 6300 or is that the only one. And are your slides in standard tray or in a plastic jacket? A standard tray is a clamshell device where you lay your slides in frames and when done close and snap the clamshell closed.
