SOURCE: downloading music from my pc to phone

This is the same deal with a lot of other people, including myself. You need a smaller SD card to transfer anything. The problem I've had is getting Windows to recognize my SD card when I insert it into my laptop. But the first issue you'd have is with a 2GB card, which isn't recognized in the SLVR. Also, some cards aren't compatible with Windows. Cheap ones like Transcend have issues being read and formatted by Windows, cause they're cheap to begin with. Get something from perhaps Crucial or Kingston. You're better off with a good brand anyways.

SOURCE: trying to download music from pc to Sandisk

You should be able to stick the sandisk into your pc, provided your pc has a card reader. If not, the usb from the zuma (while the sandisk is inserted, of course) should work just fine.

I have a SanDisk Sansa how do I download the music from my Imac to the Sansa, I've connected it to the Imac but I don't see how to downlaod the music

Is the SanDisk showing as a drive on the Imac? You should be able to drag files from the Music folder to the Sansa player to copy them. (You can't connect to ITunes and download directly to the player.)

I hope this helps.

SanDisk

You will need a card reader to plug the card into. If your PC doesn't have one built-in, you can buy a USB card reader and attach it to your PC. This shows up in My Computer as (a) Removable Drive(s), depending how many different types of cards it can read. Then you just copy or move files from the Sandisk to your hard drive.

Music won't play

Some music services have a fixed-term license that they put on the songs - you may have to resychronize the Sansa to the computer AND the music service to regain playability. Alternatively, you could have a corrupt DB already - sad, but possible. The good news is that you can fix a corrupt DB by downloading the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website. Good luck!

Synchronize to use your music subscription

go in your settings on the mp3 player and look under USB modes. change it to MSC mode and reconnect it to your PC. if this doesn't work go to Sandisk website and download the firmware updater. and retry...should clear the issue.

There is no album art appearing

If it was never associated with the music when you downloaded the music, then there is nothing to show and therefore, wont show.

Transferring MP3 files from PC "C" drive "My Music" folder to SD card

you may want to try downloading only those that didn't download the first time. Sometimes when you try to download a large file (all the songs) it causes the "error message" you talk about. You may want to delete files already downloaded, or save the files downloaded to a different file folder, and try the download again.
