Retrieval of deleted voice recorded file

maybe, there are programs that retrieve deleted files, but sadly you need to buy them.

this only works if you havn't added any new voice recording (or a lot of voice recordings) or if you havn't reformatted your player.

I cannot delete songs from Sansa E260

Ok, Sansa made it a little difficult this time,

"Connect your player, of course. Go to "My Computer" > "Sansa e260". There are hidden files. To unhide go to "Tools" (located on the menu bar) > "Folder Options..." > hit the "View" tab > select "Show hidden files and folders". You will see more folders to appear in a faded color. Click on the "MUSIC" folder. Click on the artist, then album then select the song, right click and down to delete." --Yahoo Answers

Downloaded books from the library won't play

I was having the same problem when I used Overdrive Media Console to transfer my audiobook files to my Sansa. I updated the license and retransferred and even tried changing the USB settings on the mp2 player. What finally worked? Using Windows Media Player to sync the files instead. When I hooked up my Sansa I chose "use WMP to sync files" and then I dragged/dropped the audiobook files to the mediaplayer window. The audiobook now plays without any problems since WMP made sure the files have the latest subscription update code.

I have the sana e260

the video is most likely in quicktime format. The sansa should play mp4 video which quicktime can create.

my only guess is the sansa software isn't that good anyway. You can try using a program like super or handbrake.

Can't convert video

Hi
First in order to use the sandisk media converter your mp3 sansa should be recognized by your windows. You need to download MTP.
The new Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) enables you to manage content on any portable device with storag. Download from microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=a2e73160-e862-4f19-bb26-c0cafe798955&displaylang=en Once your sandisk is recognized then you can use the media converter. If you want to bypass media converter then you should buy a new media converter compatible with sandisk sansa and in this case you can convert without sandisk sansa attached to your computer. Please check it on the web. You can start by any video converter which available for free otherwise pro is a shareware: http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/

I have a sansa e260r but i dont have a proper

You have to download a free program such as Riva FLV Encoder first, and use it to convert your Real/Winamp videos to AVI format. Once they are in AVI format, the Sansa Media Converter will recognize them.

"Unknown" listed in spots for songs in player's list of all songs

You need to fix the id3 tags of songs. Just follow below steps to do that. ID3 is a metadata container most used on audio format, which provides audio data standard for music files, including Title, Artist, Year, Genre and other great information. And all ID3 tags are supported by most player software, like iTunes, and Windows Media Player. On Windows 10, music files have included metadata information like song name, artist name, or genre, but there will be times when this data may show up wrong or appear missing for a song or an entire album. To add tags to wav files, you can try Windows File Explorer. 1.Open the Windows File Explorer in your computer. (Windows key + E). 2.Browse the folder of the songs you want to add tags to wav files. 3.Right-click of the song, and then select "Properties". 4.Click to check the "Details" tab. It is well noted that all the details you see in the "Details" tab is part of the metadata information, and you can set wav ID3 tags by clicking the value field next to the property. 5.After updating the metadata information you like, click " Apply" and then "OK" button. With Windows File Explorer, it will also improve your file search function and you do not have to set it to icon or details mode in order to change the sort settings and then switch it back to preview mode. check-the- For more methods, check: Best 4 Methods: How to Edit Wav Tags
