Tool; CSR bluetooth dongle 2.0, got from store for only $2.50.
Install Toshiba Bluetooth stack v7.00.10(T) driver Win7x64 (search in google to download the installer). from OFF state of your BH-214, press power button until LED flashes quickly,do not release the button yet, stay press until LED flashes red & blue alternately slowly.On ur PC,->Add new device, then your PC would detect BH-214 as headset. Work fine with my BH-214 to connect with PC through BTooth dongle (A2DP 1.2 (btooth audio profile) & AVRCP (player navigation control profile)) & at the same time with my phone (HFP, HandsFree profile).

just show all your items . then go to your boot drives ie c/:.
then find installation folder where every setup will be made.

either you have a virus or the user profile is broken... that could be the uwer hive in the registry is broken if you can not make a new user and it works. Try booting into safe mode to see if it might be a driver issue or such. Next build a new profile. If none of those work, try a repair installation from your windows cd to repair the profile information with a new profile. those usually work in your situation for me.

Can you see it in System Profiler? (Apple -> About This Mac -> More Info)

If not then you're onto a non-starter I'm afraid. Your modem is incompatible. If you can see it in the Profiler but it's not picking it up as you describe in System Prefs then it's a driver issue - check out the manufacturer's website for a driver for your OS, or Google for one.

Here are a couple things you can try.

Edit the MSCONFIG Startup tab and Services Tab. Disable the entire startup tab, and HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES on the Services tab, then uncheck the rest. Reboot, then try a restart. If the problem goes away, then start adding items back one at a time till you identify the item causing the issue.

Updating the BIOS and Video driver are usually helpful.

You can also create a new profile with Admin rights and see if it works normally. Often, a profile will develop issues that are usually easier resolved by just creating a new profile, then moving data files to the new profile. (Never delete the old profile till you are absolutely sure there is nothing left in the profile you need.)

sorry if it took a while to get an answer to your question...

anyway, let's begin by ensuring that you have completed installing the drivers & software of your wireless adapter.

launch the linksys wireless program by clicking on the icon for the linksys on the system tray or generally, this can also be launched from the programs menu after clicking on the windows start button.

on the main screen for the linksys, there are 3 tabs: link information, site survey & profiles. select the profiles tab

on the profiles screen, click on the new button to create a new profile. name the profile with a customized ID & click ok.

under choose a net type, select infrastructure mode. enter the SSID (this is your customized ID created on the new profile) & click next.

under network setting select obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP) & click on next.

under security settings choose "disabled" for WEP and leave the rest of the fields blank.

confirm the settings by clicking on yes.

note: you don't need a driver for your 2wire router, ensuring that the 2wire is already working with the ethernet connection.
also make sure you are able to see your devices on the mdc page, go to homeportal/management, local network> device list.

i assume that the mac g4 is able to connect wirelessly to this 2wire modem, am i correct?

the user profile has gone corrupt. it needs to be deleteed. if you cannot do that you can create a new user profile as administartor and acess documents in her profile and print it from the new profile
