SOURCE: what kind of oil 5-40or 10-40 or other for 1999 ml 320

The manufacturer's recommendations are usually posted under hood or on the drivers side door by the latch. 10-40 is pretty thin and I would bet that 5-30 or 5-40 would work best.

How many milliliters to milligrams?

Converting MG to ML will vary depending upon the density. It is not possible to know how many MG equal ML because milligrams are used to measure weight and milliliters are used to measure volume. You would need to know the density of the item that is being measured.

How to deduce the centrifugation speed from the scale provided?

Do you have a biomedical group in your facility or somebody who's responsible for maintaining your equipment? If you do, they should have a photo-tachometer. They can place a piece of reflective tape onto the rotor to get you the true rpm speed. You probably need an accurate speed anyway to ensure proper rcf for your samples.

What is a Centrifuge?

Wikipedia says: A centrifuge is a piece of equipment, generally driven by an electric motor (some older models were spun by hand), that puts an object in rotation around a fixed axis, applying a force perpendicular to the axis. A centrifuge is also used to separate the components of blood in blood banks. The centrifuge works using the sedimentation principle, where the centripetal acceleration causes denser substances to separate out along the radial direction (the bottom of the tube). By the same token lighter objects will tend to move to the top (of the tube; in the rotating picture, move to the centre).

Manual/electrical

A number of companies specialize in calibration and repair of centrifuges. There are also sources of replacement parts. Such sources may have access to the repair manuals or user guides. Or, their technical support may offer a more direct answer to your issue with a centrifuge. That said, outside of these materials outside of the hands of factory trained technicians is highly likely elusive. You might try www.researchgate.net.

Thermo Fisher Scientific might have more information regarding the device. I do not find published schematics for it on the web.
