Lxe Hobart dishwasher stuck on shutdown but won’t drain

drain valve solenoid stuck open = bad
fill valve solenoid is working?

run load empty with a cup off salt in place of detergent

LXE machines have a lockup issue, which is supposed to be fixed with a new control board. It has to be revision H or higher. Do not accept an older revision.

Belt, Water Pump Although few dishwashers have a water pump belt, if the dishwasher won't drain there might be a worn or broken water pump belt. After removing the lower kick panel the motor can be seen in the front, the water pump belt is on the bottom of the motor.

Drain Pump If the dishwasher won't drain, the drain pump might be defective. Test the pump motor with an Ohm meter. Drain pumps are not repairable, if it's defective it will need to be replaced.

Drain Impeller The drain impeller is attached to the pump and pushes the water out of the dishwasher, through the drain tube and into the garbage disposer or drain line. Hello There; If your unit stuck on the wash cycle and not advance to rinse cycle because the rinse water is not up to 180 degree . You've to check out the booster element and the rinse temp. I hope this will help.

Check thte drain hose as it might be clogged at the entry point to the drain if it connected to a garbage disposer.

E0 STANDS FOR NO WATER @SUMP PROBE DURING 3 CONC. CYCLES. MY FIRST GUESS WOULD BE THERE IS SOMETHING STUCK IN YOUR DRAIN VALVE ALLOWING ALL THE WATER TO GET PUMPED OUT INSTEAD OF WASHING AND STAYING IN THE TANK. DONT FORGET TO VOTE

Its a hobart correct?The data plate is on the bottom right front or on the door when opened on the left.If you dont see it then its been removed.Regardless does the display show a wash then rinse cycle?If so and it doesnt drain you either have a clogged drain hose or the drain valve is bad or stuck.If you use this just to wash glasses your model is probably a lxigc.If glasses are broken in the dishwasher which they probably are the glass has gotten into the drain body and is obstructing the valve from opening and closing.I work for hobart and services dishwashers alot.let me know.
