WE LOST OUR MANUAL AT WORK AND HOBART LXH

Use a commercial deliming agent (like Lime Away or LSR). Remove the rack from the dishwasher and close the door. Press Off to power down the machine. Next press and hold Wash (Delime) while pressing ON. Delime should show in the display. The unit will fill with water and then flash Add and Delime. Open the door and add the deliming agent according to the directions. (The sump holds about 3 gallons of water.) Close the door and press Wash (Delime). The machine will start the wash mode for 5 minutes and then do two rinse and drain cycles. Delime symbol will flash while this takes place. When finished, the power to the control will be turned off. Check the interior of the machine for lime deposits. If needed, repeat the delime cycle. If the delime program is interrupted before it is completed, then start the delime process from the beginning.

The manuals and other documents are available to registered users of the Hobart site here: https://feg.hobartcorp.com/CookieAuth.dll?GetLogon?curl=Z2FresourcecenterZ2Fdefault.aspx&reason=0&formdir=2 . The direct link is: hobart.co.kr/install_pdf/040.pdf .

The spec sheet is available here: http://www.hobartcorp.com/products/warewashing/undercounters/lxi-undercounter/ .

I hope this helps.

Glasses look awful after being washed, maybe I

If you have hard water glasses can look spotted and cloudy even after cleaning. Sometimes changing the dishwasher detergent can help. The easiest solution to clearing up glasses that start to look cloudy is to add some vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher before you start a cycle. Simply add 1/4 of white vinegar and it will clear up your glasses very well.
You should see marked improvement after the first time you do this. If they are not crystal clear then simply repeat the process until all of the cloudiness is gone. After that it is recommended to use a little vinegar in each cycle to maintain the clarity of the glass.

Make sure your flow pressure is 15 to 25 PSI. Flow pressure below 15 PSI will cause the vacuum breaker to leak.

Hobart lx 40 - problem D 1

Does it show a wrench icon and P1?
error codes are p 1to 3 for probe errors, or E1 to 7 for error codes.
P1 is the probe on the wash tank. It's a thermistor with two black wires to a white connector. There is another on the booster front (P2) and a 3rd on the rear airgap, (p3). You could try exchanging 1 and 3 to see if the fault changes too. You have to drain the booster to swap P2. If it can't determine the wash tank temp, it won't know to control the heat and shows the error.

Just purchased a used LXIh4 temp on diplay only goes to 155F

The incoming water determines how fast the DW is ready for another cycle. For running continuous cycles, the incoming water will need to be 140 degrees. If you pause 2 minutes between cycles, the temp should remain consistent with a 120 degree supply.

Hobart AM15-1 Low Temperature Dishwasher. Techs question. I just replaced main board and relay board but now getting a E1 error code, curious if anyone knows what it is?

Question edited for clarity. Error codes should be on the rear label according to the Technical Manual https://www.partstown.ca/modelManual/HOB-AM15T_spm.pdf There is no E1 error code for that machine and is is suggested that the display may be faulty. https://www.google.com/search?q=hobart+am15+e1+error+code The only reference to E1 is here, for the AM-16 and an electrical 'type'. https://www.hobart.ca/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/warewash/AM16-BAS-Base-Electric-CF48568.pdf For LXi machines Drain and fill error messages are displayed as E0, E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6 or E7. In all cases, the dishwasher will terminate current cycle operations, turn off all heat sources and display the message until the OFF button is pressed. (A power drain will not occur when turned off.) (See Troubleshooting.)
