I also encountered a similar problem. It was not possible to contact the service center, so I searched for a solution on the Internet, and found it on this site - https://washingcodes.com/blog/#.XFwRwFUzaUk

SOURCE: My hotpoint aqarius dc26 dishwasher has stopped

this may be caused by a leak your dishwasher as a build in anti flood switch which stops water from entering when it leaks into the base of dishwasher . You may be able to check this for yourself by unplugging your dishwasher and slowly pulling it out and lean it back if water runs on to your floor you have had a leak .if at this point you turn it back on it might start to fill again .if it does start to fill turn it off again . it will need further examination to see why it leaking .if you feel you can't do this call your local engineer .

SOURCE: Dishwasher starts to work but after 30 seconds

Ok so your dishwasher won't do anything... it justs sits there and "Hums" you can't make it respond to any controls, and the ONLY way to Stop it. is to unplug the unit, replugging back in it simply "Hums" again and will do nothing.
Now this happens because, the STOP Button, is pressed and the "Door Opened", during the Wash Cycle. This should NOT be done. You shouldNEVER TURN IT OFF MID-CYCLE. you should instead, Simply, pull on the handle, to Open the door, the system will take care of everything, after, you close it,and pick up where it left off. The turning OFF, makes the machine "Think" that a New Cycle, is going to be done, before the old one is finished, and resets itself to do it all again. But it still has water, that's not meant to be there so it must dump it out.
Now, the FIX. Take the Dishwasher, out, and tip over on it's side, tip to about a 45' angle. Water will come out from underneath, this is from a small "Overflow" reservoir. this reservoir has an "Anti-Flood" switch. The removing of this water will "Reset" this Switch, and allow the dishwasher to work again.
So what happens, is this, when the STOP button is pressed Mid-Cycle, the machine must "Dump" whatever water is still in the machine, into the "Overflow Reservoir". This water then causes the Anti-flood switch to jam, and this stops the machine, until it is reset,by the above method.Service manual below, if the above doesn't help. http://appliancejunk.com/ge/dishwasher/31-9137.pdf

Fast and delicate flashing

Your control panel is bad.My advice is use your warranty if you have it .If you don't ,toss this machine out, there should have been a re-call on this .You are one of many many that are having to deal with a problem that the manufacturer should be liable for. Dont't let GE (hotpoint) go not knowing that your D/W is broken ,look for a class action law suit to be in the making, which is not enough to correct the problems at hand .I don't advise repairing this unless there is a modified part to replace the defective one. Again I'm with you on this ,and sorry for all the consumers that are ripped off by manufacturers (in my eyes) . Please rate this !

Hotpoint FDW 85 Dishwasher

You just need to switch the machine off for approx 30 seconds from the mains and switch it back on again!!

AL99 means that there is a communication error within the machines software.

Waiting for the part to arrive approx £40 looks quite straight forward if you are a bit handy with tools
