I have an Avanti w511 washing machine that shows a FD code on the screen when I try to get it to run. It will lock multiple times but never start running, so I want to know how to get it to run again.

Thanks! I found this online, which shows how to run tests on the washer to see what might be wrong, which helped, too. Now if i can just find a few muscly people to help me move the dryer from atop the washer.

your board is confused and cannot read water level, very easy fix, pull off console(three screws on rear) and remove clear hose on right side of main control. blow into with your mouth and clear tube. reconnect hose and try, if F1 continues main control will need to be replaced, Sears is offering this for free if your unit falls within a certain serial number range, Also a biggie.....You must use he soap only with the oasis....no exceptions.....
