I own a canon MP210 printer. Recently a paper got jammed but I was able to get it out. Now, every time I try to print, it will only grab the paper but wont feed while printing and says "Paper Jam".

Some times when paper jams a printer it damages the sensors that continue the printing process. I suggest you revisit the area where the paper jam occurred and check for the tiniest particle still lingering between the rollers. Remove what rollers you can by hand and inspect the surfaces and alignment. Put them back in the order you removed them and try again to print.

SOURCE: False Paper Jam Error

Make sure the paper tray guides are set against the paper more likely to be the back guide not pushing the paper to the front of the tray. If you have the guides set correctly then place one sheet of paper in the tray and blot some methylated spirits on the leading edge along the page width and close the tray and try printing something.

You will have a jam repeat process 3 or 4 times then open tray and remove paper. Where you soaked the spirits into the paper there should be a grubby mark where the feed roller has rubbed and cleaned. Wipe the tray dry and put fresh paper in then hopefully you will now be able to print. If you cannot then the likely thing is that the paper feed pickup spindle is broken and will need replacing.

Hope this helps you and please rate me

SOURCE: printer says clear paper jam. There is no paper jam.

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

SOURCE: paper does not feed into lexmark X5470 all in one printer

feeding problems
not take apaper
not feed a paper

hey im tuval from israel,
first of all im sorry about my english :)
and now to the point.......
look, if you know where the feeding wheel its good (like elastic material over this wheel) , now take a"nail cleaner" (aceton)
and clean this wheel (the elastic thing), i did thet and the problem is gone!!!
after the cleanning send 15-20 empty doc to print (remember - empty, dont use you ink - you dont have to - save money), if all the paper is out from the printer,
you fix that.

i hope i help you.

SOURCE: HP deskjet F380 - 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam!

Unplug the power cord and while doing that make sure printer is powered on i mean do not turn off the printer using the power button. When you unplug the power cord than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Than release the power button and connect the power cord and then try to print.

I have a Canon MP 210 with an E3 error message (paper jam) though there is NO paper jam. The paper feeder is spinning but doesn't grab the paper. Please help! Thank you, Robin

I think there is a paper jam or something stuck in the sensor that is making it think there is a paper jam. It may be a very small piece of paper which you have missed. Look again.

Paper is grabbed from one side only

If paper is only getting grabbed by one side, then you likely have a paper jam somewhere in the roller on the other side.

Canon MP210 Paper Jam

A common issue is moisture. As the relative humidity changes, the paper will absorb some of the excess moisture. (Ink jets don't get as hot as other printers; but they do have temperature changes during operation.)

Unfortunately, the only solution that I have ever found is to use paper from a just opened package. Try to keep only enough paper in the printer for a short duration of printing (1-2 weeks). Keep the rest of an open package of paper somewhere else where the temperature and humidity stays fairly constant.

I hope this helps.

Paper jams every time

Only dirty rollers are obstructing the paper path. Clean the rollers with a moist cloth (NOT WET).

Paper pulls to the right, jams, won't print, tried different paper still won't print

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Hope that helps!
