try to plug it into a computer oh but you'd have to install drivers to be reconize and you'd have to set printer to PC mode to reconize.

PE means Printer Error. your printer is stuck. call a tech

Try to unplug the power adapter (black box) at the back of the printer for about 1 minute. If it doesn't work, try to update the firmware of your printer: http://bit.ly/ghfW8H.

If those steps doesn't work and your printer is still under warranty, please contact our technical support team to have the printer replaced.

Try to re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box behind the printer where the power cord is plugged in to, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
If that doesn't help, try to plug the printer to a different known working power outlet in the wall to determine if it's a faulty power outlet issue.
If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for further assistance.

There is a printhead hot error that will come up on the printer if it overheats the printing mech and it will pause. If it totally locks up I'd suspect the main logic.

Let Photoshop do the colour management. Switch it of on your printer (only choose the right substrate). If your screen is calibrated, you can use your screen profile in your working space and choose a output profile and rendering intent when you print to a certain CMYK profile.

This happened to my Kodak printer recently but I've got mine fixed. Firstly you must check that you do have ink and if so than update your driver by going on their website. I did this but the driver did not matter. Anyway if this doesn't work than you should contact them and they may ask you do go on a website where they can fix your kodak from a computer live on screen (they control your mouse). If they say it doesn't work they will compensate you with a free visit to check what has happend or they will refund you with the lattest printer and you only have to pay 30 pounds.
