I have the same problem with my S605!! Although it is 18 months old.
Reading various blogs on the internet, this seems to be a common problem. Other users reporting it to Lexmark seem to get replacement printheads, sometimes more than one. Others get their machine replaced!
After having read all these negative reports my advice to you is to return it to your vendor and ask for it to be replaced with another machine from a different manufacturer.
Lexmark machines seem to have a constant ongoing problem with their printheads (for years).
Sorry to be so negative but you and I have bought ourselves a load of trouble.

Try to unplug the power adapter from the printer.
Wait at least 10 seconds before replugging the adapter to the printer. This will give enough time for the printer to reset itself. Also, make sure the power cord is plugged in straight to the power outlet in the wall, bypass any power surge devices.
If the problem continues, it could be a faulty power adapter issue. Please contact Lexmark technical support for additonal assistance.
How to change wording to English
Really we need more information on your problem.
Is the printer printing your document in Spanish?
Is your computer showing the help screen in Spanish?
Is the printer screen showing options in Spanish?
Is this a recent problem, has it ever displayed in English?
Answering these questions will help us give you a possible solution.

I've had this problem, it seems to be after the machine has been left inactive for a period of time. The solution, that worked for me, is to turn the machine off from the mains supply, leave for about 30 seconds then turn the power on, my machine then reboots and the screen is activated again.

Lexmark s600 just installed new yellow cartridge (generic) and it wont recognize it, ran deep clean and it printed plant of yellow! help!
It insists there is a Cartridge problem on the Printer............ In this Case take out the Paper from the Paper Feed Tray........ Unplug the Power Supply from the Printer.......... Remove both the Cartridges from the Printer.......... Now take a size 10 Envelope fold it so that it should become like a thin long strip........ Now Insert that Envelope on the left side corner of the Printer and move it from right to left and left to right as fast as u can for about 10 times.......... Now Insert the Ordinary Papers onto the Printer and insert both the catridges and Turn on the Printer...... Blinking Stopped...........Issue Resolved....... Still Blinking: Remove both the Cartridges take a Paper Towel turn the catridges direction so that u can see a Copper plate with small boxes on it....... Just wipe it twice or thrice with the Paper Towel.......... Now insert it and Power on the Printer and see whether the Lights are still blinking if it is still blinking...... Contact Lexmark at 1-800-539-6275!!!!! Good Luck!!!!!
