The "F1" fault code usually indicates one of the following possible failures:
Shorted keypad which is part of the Electronic Oven Control (EOC)
or a
Failed Electronic Oven Control (EOC)
Oven temperature sensor is bad (this is located inside the oven cavity at the upper left rear corner). The oven sensor should be disconnected and tested for resistance and compared with the "RTD" scale.
You can try resetting the range by disconnecting it from the outlet or switching off the circuit breaker of the home for 10-20 minutes then restore the power. If the reset doesn't work your range may have one of the above failures.

* Here is a simple test that you can
do to determine whether the clock or the touchpad are defective
when the display reads F1:
- Disconnect power to the range.
- Gain access to the back of the ERC (electronic range control,
or "clock").
- Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will
be a flat wire about 1 ½" to 2" wide.
- Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power
is turned back on. Replace any covers removed to gain access to
the ERC.
- Turn the power back on to the range.
- Watch for the F-1 and listen for the beep.
- If you get the F-1 and beep, replace the ERC.
- If after approximately 60 Minutes you do not get the F-1 fault,
replace the touch pad.
NOTE: Some models incorporate the touch pad and the clock
control as one part so F1 = bad clock control.
Warning: If you do not feel comfortable doing this test or
making this repair please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

Fault Code Description
Solution
4 Digit Failure Codes (for 2 digit codes see below)
F1 - E0
EEPROM communication error
1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
Note: Applies to all F1-E... codes except F1-E3.
F1 - E1
EEPROM checksum error
F1 - E2
UL A/D error(s)
F1 - E4
Model ID error
F1 - E5
Calibration shifted
F1 - E6
Latch signal mismatch error
F1 - E9
Stack overflow
F1 - E3
Wiring harness cavity size does not match previously stored value
The "Cavity Size Select" jumpers in the wiring harness indicate a cavity size different from that which the control was previously configured for. Check the jumpers in the harness to make sure they agree with the actual oven size.
