Try a brand new needle.

If that doesn't help, the machine may be out of time. Take it for service.

SOURCE: my Juki DL 5555 won't pick up bobbin thread

It is possible that you have the bobbin in backwards. Try inserting the bobbin so that the thread pulls in the opposite direction than it currently does. Also, sometimes you have to really push the bobbin case in to make sure it snaps into place. Other than that, you may have a dull needle...try replacing it, or it just may need an overhaul.

SOURCE: will not pick up bobbin thread

Unusual for this machine. Check to be sure the needle is inserted with the flat side to the back of the machine. If it is, remove the needle plate, bobbin and bobbin case. Turn the hand wheel slowly toward you and see if the point of the hook is above or below the eye of the needle when the hook point is aligned behind the needle. If the eye is above the point of the hook the machine is out of time and best taken to qualified technician.

SOURCE: Juki, DNU-1541S: thread was not picking up the bobbin thread. The hook shaft is not moving... After trying to move the needle in a reverse motion... Now the hand wheel will not move it is frozen in pl

You've got something binding in the bobbin area. Open up the entire bobbin/feed dog area plates so you can really see. Get your magnifying glass out and really examine the area for threads wound around things. DO NOT unscrew anything if you can help it. If you unscrew the wrong thing you can knock it completely out of time. (which may be why couldn't get the bobbin thread up anyway.)

If all this is intimidating to you... take it for repair.

Why does my thread keep coming out of the needle on my Juki 2010?

Coming out? You mean thread breaking? This is always incorrect threading or incorrect tension, or rotten thread.

The videos explain how to set the bobbin tension first and then as long as your threading is okay, any other adjustment is done on the top tension. Bobbin tension only needs very small adjustments and is just enough to stop the thread from falling under the weight of the bobbin.

Which way does thread come off of bobbin for juki tl 2200 qvp

According to the manual (pg 20), it appears the bobbin turns clockwise in the bobbin case. So when the bobbin is loaded and the thread pulled, the thread direction goes right, then doubles back through the tension mechanism to the left.

I was recently given a TL-98Q Juki. I have it set up on a long arm quilting machine. I have put two sheets with cotton batting between on the machine. Everything is set up. I started the machine and...

Be sure you have installed a brand new needle. If it still does not pick up the bobbin thread, the machine may be out of time.

If the presser foot does not set firmly on the fabric, then that is what you want for free motion quilting. However, if you mean the presser foot is sloppy (wobbly), then the attachment may be loose or the presser foot is worn.

There was a small thread jam and now the top thread will not pick up the bobbin thread

Try a new needle. If that doesn't do it, then the timing is off. You might need a repair shop to fix it.

Needle won't pick up bobbin thread tried cleaning new needle new bobbin thread upper thread..

Hi,
did you clean the bottom bobbin area thoroughly? Remove the cover plate and bobbin reel, look for debris. Any left over cotton will cause problems, after you clean it spray some wd-40 on all moving parts.
Thanks

I have lost the manual and i dont remember how to thread a bobbin. Pleas help me and thank you!

Juki TL-98Q
Loading the bobbin into the bobbin case:
Snap in the bobbin case latch, and put the bobbin into the bobbin case so that the bobbin runs clockwise.
Passing the thread through the **** of the bobbin case, continue passing it under the thread tension spring, and pull out the thread open end about 10 cm from the bobbin case.
Insert the bobbin case fully into the hook, and close the bobbin case latch.

Juki TL-98QE thread comes out of needle, won't pull up bobbin

It can be many things but first make sure the needle is in correctly, follow the manual to be sure, if it still does not pick up the bobbin thread you may want to bring it to a repairman to see if it is out of timing.
