Position of oxygen sensors

all you have to do is follow the exhaust from the manifold back and you will come to the sensors. bank 1 O2 sensor is on the bank cylinder 1 is and bank 2 O2 sensor is located on the bank cylinder 2 is on. the first sensors you come across is sensor 1 then the next sensor you come across sensor 2 and so on. so you can have a sensor code like bank 1 sensor 2 meaning the sensor on bank one but the sensor is the 2nd sensor in the exhaust.

Check engine light code P031 for 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, what does it mean?

Dear Madam or Sir,

the code stands for:

Heated Oxigen Sensor1, Bank 1, Heater Control - circuit low.

So the heating of the O2 Sensor is faulty, you should see a mechanic to fix it.

P1391 c0de 2002 dodge ram van no start

Code P1391 Loss of crank or cam sensors,P0340 No cam signal at the pcm. I would replace the crank sensor first. Your cam sensor is part of the dist. on 5.2/5.9 engines.
Hope that helps.

LOCATING CRANK SHAFT POISITION SENSOR ON 2002 NISSAN 2.5

The crankshaft position sensor is located on the back side of the engine, in the engine block near the oil pan towards the transmission. If you take the engine cover off of the top of the engine and look down the back of the block past the intake you can see the sensor and the harness going to it.

TACHOMETER WORKS INTERMITTENT

Do you have engine code showing by chance? It's possible the crank sensor is bad or the connection to the ecm or pcm to the instrument cluster circuit board needs a look. If you need schematics check out www.promanuals.net they specialize in Dodge Ram service manuals.

Engine stalls on a 2002 dodge ram 1500 when put in drive. check engine light came on when I was on a trip

Have it scanned for a code. it could be a variety of things that are wrong. And I am almost sure it is a sensor. Specially the cranshaft position sensor or the Idle position sensor.
