To reset the lamp timer:
1) With the projector plugged in and turned off, press the 'ON/STANDBY' button to put the projector in 'STANDBY' mode. NOTE: You have to press the button on the projector itself, you cannot use the remote for this step (this is not clear in manual).
2) Now, using the remote, press the following keys in order: RESET, <--, -->, ENTER.
3) Timer should now read '0'.

change the screen resolution to 600x800,and switch to other monitor by hitting fn+F6 key (Laptop).if the screen get black use alt+Ctrl+F3 to switch it on .

According to the manual, you need access to the RESET button, the left and right arrows and the ENTER button to clear the counter. Press the following in order for less than 5 seconds each:
RESET
Left Arror
Right Arrow
ENTER
The above sequence should clear the counter.

Hi,
After replacing lamp, connect projector AC power cord and turn the projector in standby mode.
Press following keys on control panel for less then 5 seconds each..
RESET, <==, ==>, ENTER.
That will reset lamp timer in projector.

I had same problem. The cause was a blown fuse (T5.0 Amp 250V). You have to open the case and then get below the print that is under the alloy cover. it is quite simple to fix. A fuse costs 60 cents.

Checked the fuse was fine. Measured the DC output from that big cap was 160VDC. Measured other DC outputs they were about 6V, 9V, 11VDC and I am getting 11VDC from red/yellow/black wires. May be the onboard regulator is fried? Tried Googling this specific power module part number with no luck. What other options do I have?
