Vertical lines are always the result of the LCD panel failing. You may be able to locate the issue by pressing around the edge of the screen at the location of the lines. The problem is usually caused by edge soldering connection failing. They can be repaired by using a heat gunn in some cases or forcing pressure on the edge with tape or shims.

Vizio SV470M Issue Sound No Picture

Do you have backlight? If you do, you have a bad main logic board. Very common with vizio and are hard to find. They are usually out of stock everywhere.

There is no picture or sound. Had TV for 2 years. checked all connections. tried to re-boot through vizio tech support. had no luck.

You either have a power supply issue or a main board issue. It's best to take it to a service center to have it diagnosed properly.

Hi Tim,
If all the boards you replaced were good and working, the only thing remains is the panel if the backlights are on. Please see that the LVDS cable is carrying voltage to the Tcon board.
