SYMPTOM: Blinking VIZIO logo, no power on. Usually after a utility "brown-out.
SOLUTION:
1) Unplug TV power cord. Wait 5 secs and replug.
2) Press and hold TV Power Button for 30 sec.
3) After approximately 1 minute, the VIZIO logo should stop flashing.
4) Press Power Button - TV should power on.
This procedure resets the OS program execution (power spike corrupted the sequence).

Neeraj: Unfortunately that is true with my tv and I never did find my receiver after I moved.

power off all units then redo all connections especially if it is HDMI they can be just a little lose and cause the sound to drop out

Sure something is wrong, but no technician could tell you where the error is. In a chip, or on the board, or in a cable. Just contact a service centre and ask what they will charge for a diagnose and what it will cost to repair the TV.

First, are you capable to open and repair this? Being a power issue, we work "out to in". Plugged in wall and Power is not out in the neighborhood are too obvious to ask. Sooo... next .. Once back cover is off, look for and test the fuse on the PSU (power board), also look at this PSU board and see if any caps (capacitors) are bulged or popped. Both of these will kill a board, and usually caused by cheap caps or power surges from the power grid. You can replace the fuse easy enough, but you need good soldering skills to do the caps, and a supplier for the new caps. REPLACE ALL CAPS, not just the obvious bad ones. Otherwise, replace the whole board. Since you mentioned a "No Power" issue, this should fix it. Transformers are not too easy to test, (trans may be "browned" IE: burnt) and chips.. forget it, for both, replace the board. Hope this helps

If power indicator does not lit solid/ blink when tv plugged in that indicates problem with power supply board that got defective and not providing output volts, replacement of power board will solve tv problem
