Maybe you the downloading process of your driver was interrupted during the set up.... Try to unsinstall the application and install it again.... and be aware of your antivirus sometimes it detects treat in a driver you installed

Completly uninstall the driver.
Unhook the usb cable from the printer.
Re-install software and wait till it asks for a port and then plug in the USB cable,.
