You don't need to put a space for display in the number.
If you mean a pause or wait, that will depend on the model you have. Can you be more specific?

SOURCE: System Directory Call Customer Service 1-8O5-465-751O To Fix Issue

I assume you have the manual. I found it very difficult to follow, very poor. While "on hook" enter the number you want to call. Press "store" or "enter". Enter the name referring to the graphics chart on pages 7 & 8. It is set up for Alpha characters and it depends on which software is installed on your phone. Example: If you want the letter "A" you press the number 2 one time. If you want the number "2", you have press "2" seven times to display the number 2. Use the toggle key to move to the next letter or number you want to enter. When you have finished press "Store". It may take awhile but that's how its done. Not a very good system for the average consumer in my opinion. But that's how its done. I was unable to upload the manual. How to set speed dial on vtech cs6629 phone

To set up a speed dial option, make sure that the phone system is in standby (no handsets in use). Make sure that the number you want to have as a Speed Dial number is in the Directory. You can type in the number (up to 30 digits) and then press Select (shared key with Menu to the upper right of the arrow keys). Alternatively press Menu and use the up/down arrows to navigate to Directory. Press Menu/Select twice. Type in the phone number. Press Select to move to adding a name with the number key. Press Select to Save. You can also add a number from the Redial list. See the abbreviated manual on page 7. Press Off/Cancel to return to the previous menu list. Press and hold Off to exit the menu system completely.

Now, press Menu (if you aren't in the menu) and use the up/down arrows to navigate to Directory. Press Select. Scroll to Speed Dial and press Select. Select a speed dial location and press Select. Scroll through the directory list and press Select when the correct entry is highlighted. Press and hold the Speed Dial number (0 or 2-9) to dial this number. See page 8 of the manual.

The abbreviated manual for the CS6629, CS6629-2, etc is available here: https://phones.vtechcanada.com/media/document2/products/%7B76B9FBDF-8471-4E06-BE52-B0E8A258E5F8%7D/CS6629-3_CAAUM_3_912.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How to remove the text from the Desktop icon or from any directory or file

You can remove the text from any icon, directory or file, you just need to rename the file, directory or icon, just go to rename option and set blank name or single space-bar entry but the problem is that, windows will not allow you to set blank name or name with single space-bar entry. Here interesting thing is this, window will allow you to use the ASCII code for a space, which is 0160.

b99e6d4.jpg
First of all you can clear all the text from that icon
Now type the ASCII code, simply hold the Alt key, type the number 0160 from the number pad and release the Alt key then press Enter button to finish the process. (Note. you can also put some special character in place of text by pressing some different ASCII codes like - 6560, 2456, 4251 etc......)

Will not let me save a file and reads file permission error

I think for some reason there is a limit to the number of files (nb: number of files not amount of space used) that the root directory can handle. Try making folders and moving files into these to cut down on the number of root directory entries.

Setting the date

By programming, these are programs 000,001 and 002 for Date and Time, Speed Dial number, and Speed Dial Name.

Date and time programming is easy, I don't wish manual speed dial entry on my worst enemy. However, if you like a challenge, I'm going to give you a link to the programming manual.
http://public.carl.airpost.net/TDA/TDA_PTPM_32.pdf

Start with page 12, since you'll need it to get into programming.
Your key sequences begin on page 16. After you put the first 5 or 10 speed dial numbers and names in, you'll get the hang of entering names in the directory. Nothing changes until you press ENTER or STORE. Each speed dial number starts with a trunk access code (usually 9) as part of the number. In name entry, each time you press the key it changes a letter. In a TDA IIRC 7 presses of the 2 key will get you ABCabc2.
