Have Moen tub facet with a single handle and shower diverter. The faucet drips after being shut off. The drip is very very slow. Is it the diverter or does need a cartridge replacement. Thanks! G.J. Maffei

I have already replaced my MOen cartridge on brand new faucet and still drips. Just like yours does.

It sounds most likely to be a bad cartridge.

Hope this helps

The faucet drips and I cant figure out how to make it quit.

It can be repaired without taking entire valve out of wall. First shut water off and remove handle. Next you will see a collar that will screw off to remove the cartridge below is a link for a single handle moen faucet. Check it out to get an idea. If you know your model you can research on line ,but they are close enough to give you an idea.
Once appart replace washers or o -ring's. Pay attention to how you take it appart for easy reinstallation.

I have a moen 1 knob push-pull faucet for my tub/shower. When I push it in sometimes water continues to drip. It is probably 30 years old. Are their replacement parts for it?

The old MOEN single handle faucets like youve described usualy took a 1200 or 1225 cartridge. Both are available at most of your big home improvement stores. The answer to your question is yes MOEN parts are still avail. Hope this helps. If this advise is helpful, please give me a vote.

Leaking shower head

Not unless you had a backward plumber , If the diverter at the faucet is open for tub, then no water will go up the shower, The shower may hold enough water up there to make it look like a drip, Even if the valve was leaking all the time, it would not go up, it would come out the faucet. It only works with pressure. Unless the valve was plumbed wrong,,, Hope this helps.
